ombre essay

Wednesday, October 19th 2011

When you spend the day exploring museums it is important to dress the part. Kim chanelled her exploration of Glenn Ligon's exhibit with a vintage flare. If you are going to wear a conservtive dress make sure to belt it, or do something to keep sassy appeal in tact. K, thanks. PS - Two tone pieces are SO IN right now. Every store, every floor, there is two tone something. So get with the program. Kim's dress is more of an ombre than a bi-color piece but I think that it is a great merge of the two. In case you are like not cultured and ish (hehehe just kidding) Glenn Ligon is a tresridicool conceptual artist. "He explores race, language, desire, and identity" through various media including paint, neon, video and photography. I mean, can you be any cooler?? J'adore his textured black and white piece!!

tresridicool shout outs.
