There are few color combinations that harmoniously complement one another across the shade board. The nice thing about orange and blue is that they look good together bright, light, and bold. Powder blue, teal, navy, cobalt are fine colors in their own right but when you introduce them to clementine, peach, cognac, construction orange...the duo demand your attention. Resort and SS12 is a fateful love story of when orange met blue. Designers separately, yet simultaneously have professed their love. Christopher Kane's script was all sorts of genius. He flawlessly played with fabric and texture, and fearlessly paired patent open toe orangle fluo heels + orange pants + white lace collared shirt + basic long sleeve navy blue sweater = GENIUS. Another noteworthy tale was told by the dashing men of Rag & Bone. Their confession was passionate, formal and revealing all at once. I'm blushing at the sight. Love Actually is when orange met blue.
