Pants off, Dance off - things do not always go as planned, but sometimes we improvise. Kim planned on sexy heels, but opted for comfort knowing she would be walking the streets of SoHo. You were prob appaled that she put her Marni pink cashmere cardigan on the public toilet (I would have been)! Hehe, don't trip - this was a (mostly) pre-soiree photo shoot at Kim's friends flat. Ok, back to the point - Glitter has been a serious craving since we saw the Miu Miu show stoppers shown above - le drool. We know that it is hard to resist something as fabulous as Miu Miu, but we do not consider it settling if you ask Zara (well, that's our belief).

In fact it seems that 'ask and you shall receive' is the policy at Zara - their glittery strappy sandals killed the drool worthy Miu Miu's. Don't forget that tresridicool fashion is a BALANCING ACT. Trust, you don't want to be that girl who shows up head to toe in designer, that is just silly. Pair your swag with your fab - the unexpected combo is tresridicool. Kim rocked flower frocked Topshop denim, with a J.Crew leopard belt (love love love bringing in some wild), a totally casaul grey Enza Dacosta tank (this tank goes with everything, you may also need to get it in black, and white), and an Hermes cuff. Bada bing, bada boom.

The Author

"Fear is not an option" those words said by DVF changed me. I was reading an interview in the Influence coffee table book by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. In the interview DVF expressed that her mother as a survivor of the Holocaust believed that living without fear was the only way to live your dream. Right then and there I decided. Fashion was where I belonged. It is an artful expression that drapes us, and each day we have a new canvas to paint.

We all have a story to tell, but for now I will share just what you need to know. I was born to an Iraqi-Czech parental unit in New York City. After ten years life lead me to live and study in other metropolis: Palm Beach, Seattle, Los Angeles... Each place with its own pace and style. It was my time spent living in Israel and traveling throughout Europe that instilled an edgy chic in my step. Today I live and love in New York City.

Creative Eye

Kim is both inspiring and natural. She was born in Paris to a Polish mother and Tunisian father who exposed her to the ever changing world of fashion. Growing up modeling for Naf Naf, her father's then company, and playing dress up in her mothers wardrobe - the stage was set for Kim. Fashion was her calling. Over the years she lived between Paris and Brussels until the fateful day she moved to LA to further pursue her education.

Having been raised in an international and entrepreneurial family Kim learned that anything is possible so long as you put forth the effort to achieve your dreams. Her passion for the artful expression of fashion lays in its interpretation. She recognizes the relevance of perspective knowing that each person has come from a different walk of life and such is the beauty of style. No two people are the same and that is to be celebrated. Like history, you need to know where fashion began to know where it is going.
